Everyone wants Clara to be connected to Rose somehow. We all know Clara’s mom died on the same day Rose was last seen. I’m watching the series from the beginning, and one line struck me. It’s when the Doctor visits Rose in her home. Rose says, “They said on the news they found a body” (in the explosion at the store)

What if the body found was Clara’s mom? Obviously, it was meant to be a throwaway line, but what if they’re going with it now?

Clara Oswin Oswald… my thoughts

Thoughts:

• 5 March 2005, Rose Tyler first met the Doctor during the Nestene invasion of Earth. Also during this date, Ellie Oswald, the mother of Clara Oswald, died. — interesting connection.
• Who is the uncredited child actress for Young Clara Oswald? (the one the Doctor stalks)

Theory: CLARA is Doctor Who the SHOW itself (in an allegorical way??)

• Clara shares the surname Oswald with Lee Harvey Oswald, the man who was said to have assassinated President John F. Kennedy on 22 November 1963, the day before Doctor Who premièred with An Unearthly Child. Oswin’s shipmate, who survived until he turned into a Dalek puppet, was similarly named Harvey.
• Victorian Clara’s headstone in 1892 states that she was born on 23 November 1866 and died 24 December 1892, meaning she not only shared the same birth date as Doctor Who itself but that she was also 26 years old when she died — the same age as Doctor Who was when it was cancelled in 1989 and also the same age as Jenna-Louise Coleman, the actress who played Clara.
